A place where you can actually talk.
Ideally, a space where you don't have to watch what you say because someone else might hear you.
Your process shouldn't depend on living near an office.
Online therapy in English from anywhere in Mexico, with a steady space to understand what you're going through, your relationships, and the patterns that are shaping your life right now.
For some people, being able to connect from home, from the office, or while traveling is exactly what makes it possible to keep a process going without interruption.
You live outside San Luis Potosí and want a psychologist without limiting yourself to whoever has an office in your city.
Your work schedule means an extra hour of travel every week makes it harder to take care of your mental health.
You travel, move between cities, or need therapy that can go with you even when your location changes.
Where you live, you haven't found a therapist you feel you can connect with.
You have family responsibilities that make it hard to leave the house at a fixed time every week.
You simply prefer to have this conversation from a space that's your own and familiar.
The useful question isn't “online or in person?”, but which format actually makes sense for you and for what you're going through.
Video sessions can be a good option for many kinds of therapy, but the format is also something we weigh together when we start.
I want you to be able to talk with privacy, for the format to be sustainable for your routine, and for it to let us work well on what brought you to therapy in the first place.
If I think your situation calls for a different format, a different level of care, or an additional evaluation, I'd rather tell you clearly.
The screen is the medium. The therapeutic relationship is still the center of it.
Three simple conditions matter far more than having perfect equipment.
Ideally, a space where you don't have to watch what you say because someone else might hear you.
It can be from a computer, tablet, or phone, as long as we can see and hear each other clearly enough.
Even if you're at home, try to avoid answering messages, working, or handling other things during the session.
You don't need to prepare a perfect explanation before you message me.
Tell me briefly what you'd like to work on and that you're looking for online sessions.
We check availability and agree on a time for the first session.
The first conversation is about understanding what's going on and deciding how to move forward.
I work from a systemic approach. That means I try to understand what you're going through within your history, your relationships, and the context it shows up in.
Instead of treating each symptom in isolation, we look at which patterns keep repeating, what triggers them, and what function they've served so far.
I also bring in a lens from Attachment Theory when it helps to understand how you experience closeness, distance, fear, conflict, or safety within your relationships.
First we look for the sense in what's happening.
What repeats, with whom, when, and what keeps it going.
We find different ways to respond to familiar situations.
What matters is that the work we do starts to change your everyday life.
If you already know what you're looking for, you can read more about how I work with each area.
You can have your sessions in English or in Spanish. Fees vary depending on the language and type of session.
On the pricing page you can switch between English-language rates and Spanish-language rates.
This format is built for people anywhere in Mexico — whether you're in Mexico City, Querétaro, Monterrey, Guadalajara, San Miguel de Allende, Mérida, or a smaller town with fewer therapy options nearby, or you simply prefer video sessions.
My in-person office is in San Luis Potosí, but you don't need to live here to start an online process with me.
Confidentiality is still central to the therapeutic process. In an online format we also pay attention to things like the communication channel we use and the space you're connecting from.
Before we start we can go over how the video call will work, what to do if there's a technical interruption, and any questions you have about how online sessions work.
Video sessions can be a good fit for many kinds of therapy, but not every situation needs exactly the same format. When we start we look at your situation together, and if I think a different format or a different kind of care would suit you better, I'll tell you clearly.
You need a device with a camera and microphone, a reasonably stable internet connection, and, most importantly, a private space to talk. Before we start we can also agree on what to do if a technical problem comes up during a session.

Confidentiality is still central to the therapeutic process. In an online format it also matters to look after things like the communication channel and making sure you connect from a place where other people can't overhear the session.
This service is aimed mainly at people currently in Mexico. If you're currently outside the country, message me before booking so we can look at your situation and confirm whether this format would work.
These can also be considered for video sessions, but the format is decided based on who's involved, their situation, and what the process needs. We can go over that before booking.
