Thoughts that won't stop
- Constant worry.
- Anticipating worst-case scenarios.
- Replaying conversations over and over.
- Trouble switching off.
Your mind not switching off doesn't mean you have to live on high alert forever.
Therapy can help you understand what triggers your anxiety, what patterns might be keeping it going, and how to respond differently when it shows up.
Sometimes you can keep working, keep showing up, keep doing your life, while inside you're holding a level of tension that's hard to switch off.
You worry constantly, even when you know rationally that there's probably no immediate danger.
Your mind keeps replaying scenarios, conversations, or possibilities when you're trying to rest.
Your body activates: racing heart, tightness, tension, or a feeling that you need to escape.
You avoid places, situations, or conversations because anticipating how you'll feel already brings on anxiety.
You feel like you need to keep everything under control just to feel calm.
Anxiety is starting to shape decisions, relationships, work, sleep, or plans.
In some people it's mostly worry; in others it's felt mainly in the body, or it starts to change the way they move through their day.
First we need to understand what the anxiety is doing there.
I work from a systemic approach. That means I don't see anxiety as a symptom separate from your life, but within the context where it shows up: your relationships, your history, your experiences, and the ways you've learned to respond to uncertainty.
Two people can feel very similar symptoms and still arrive at them through completely different paths. That's why the work isn't about applying the exact same technique to everyone.
In session we work to understand what triggers your anxiety, what responses end up reinforcing it, and what can start to change so it doesn't have to run your decisions.
The goal isn't to live with zero anxiety. It's for anxiety to stop deciding for you.
The process adapts to your situation, but we usually start by understanding before trying to change anything.
We talk about what you're feeling, since when it's been happening, where it shows up, and how it's affecting your life right now.
We explore situations, thoughts, relationships, and responses that may be connected to the anxiety.
We work on resources you can use outside of session, and different ways of responding when the pattern shows up again.
The first session is for me to get to know what you're going through, and to start understanding how anxiety shows up specifically for you.
In the sessions that follow we can review recent situations, dig deeper into patterns that are showing up, and work on resources you can use in everyday life.
Not every week has to look the same. Some sessions are about understanding, and others are more hands-on and practical.
You don't need to know exactly what type of anxiety you have, or explain everything perfectly, to book a first session.
I can't promise you a specific outcome or an exact number of sessions. What we can do is set concrete goals and check together how the process is unfolding.
Recognize situations and patterns that tend to trigger your anxiety.
Identify what you do when it shows up and which responses might be keeping it going.
Build resources to respond when your level of activation starts to rise.
Get back activities or spaces you had started to avoid out of fear of feeling bad.
Better understand the relationship between anxiety, control, uncertainty, and your relationships.
Make more decisions from what you want and fewer from what you're trying to avoid.

I see clients from different areas of the city and its surroundings, including Lomas, Tangamanga, Zona Industrial, Villa de Pozos, and Soledad de Graciano Sánchez.
Once your session is confirmed, I'll send you the location and any directions you need.
No. You can come in even without a diagnosis or without knowing exactly what to call what you're feeling.
We can start by understanding what you're going through, since when it's been happening, and how it's affecting your life right now.
There's no set number of sessions that works the same way for everyone.
It depends on what you're going through, how long you've had the issue, your goals, and how the process unfolds.
Anxiety is a normal human response, and it wouldn't be realistic to promise you'll never feel it again.
Therapeutic work can focus on understanding it better, reducing how much it limits your life, and developing other ways to respond when it shows up.
No. As a psychologist, I don't prescribe medication, and psychotherapy doesn't replace a medical evaluation when one is needed.
If at any point I think a psychiatric evaluation could help, we can talk about it openly.
During the process we can work on resources to help you recognize what's happening and respond to those moments outside of session.
A psychotherapy session doesn't replace emergency services. If there's an emergency or an immediate risk, please seek urgent care.
